Hardware, Power and Accessories • F2-422 BIOS Boot Order Locked for alternate OS install

From another thread for the F4-422, a user was having the same issue.

I need to change the boot order to boot from a USB-to NVME drive that is now hosting Truenas Core. TOS5.x from my experience was highly unstable with freezes, applying wrong settings, crashes, OS corruption, and last year losing the array (requiring me to reinstall TOS and rebuild the array). These issues also caused me to delete the wrong shared folder leading to massive data loss recently. I managed to recover most of the data (critical business documents and databases) after spending literally hundreds of dollars to get it done.

My current BIOS version is MAPL0303V16 and is an evaluation copy (which is also illegal to distribute, kind of like a pirated bios as this was meant for internal testing and not for public use) so Terramaster might be breaking several IP laws.

I contacted Terramaster support days ago and they have not responded. I have a feeling that they will ignore this request as my previous inquiries regarding recovering my lost data happened within 24 hours.

Any help getting an update would be appreciated.
