Hi -
I am trying to commission a Linux server with 8 HDD and move to a U8-450.
I'm booting from an NVME successfully and have my primary storage pool (Volume1) on that.
I've installed the existing drives and if I add the mdadm.conf entry for the array, I can discover the RAID6 array and mount the ext4 FS on it manually. However, there is no way to share content from the drive (or see it in the UI) and a reboot regenerates mdadm.conf and removes the entry, so even manually editing the OS files (e.g. exports for NFS, etc...) seems to be a bad option as my edits would be manually overwritten.
Is there any way to do this without buying a separate set of drives?
Thanks!
