I would like to use a 5D Thunderbolt 3 DAS configured with one large RAID 5 sub-divided into multiple drives configured in Windows Disk Management. Once created and populated with data I need to move it to another Windows system. I understand I need to install the RAID driver and RAID Manager Pro on the 2nd system as well, and it should detect the RAID array. My question is whether Windows Disk Management will also see the logical drives (F, G, S, T) that I've created and the data. Due to the details it's very difficult to make a separate backup so I will be relying on the D5 to preserve my data and for the new system to see it.
Has anyone done this sort of DAS move between Windows systems? Any problems or tips?
