How to back up? Which one is right for me? • How to expand Tnas

I have run out of space on my t12 nas and would like to know what is the best method to expand.

Buy other hard drives to replace the 12 already mounted?

Buy another nas?

Mount an external hard drive of 16tb or more and connect it to the nas?
