To further investigate I have performed a clean instal of TOS5.1.145 onto a single HDD Traid, followed by update to TOS6.0.420.
With the default configuration ('local') the response is 'Failed to send to ....'
Setup custom config with known good server/addressee/password (as used in TOS5.1) Port 25, Auth None ('--') . This can be saved (where there were problems previously) but still results in 'Failed to send to .....'
I accept that we have previously been through this and thought it had been sorted (previous thread now locked) but it appears to have regressed for me (and some others).
I do note that, for some reason, in the Authorisation box there appears to be a different number of '-' compared to TOS5.1 but you have to look very closely
Either I am missing something very basic (Something that needs to be changed to enable the default mechanism, which would be unhelpful) or some previous fix has been regressed.
